The living museum of classic gaming in Spanish
A portal built to preserve retro culture: a catalogue of 960 classic PC and console games sorted by genre, platform and developer, entries for historic software and classic film, a blog, tutorials, reviews, a podcast and its own forum (Foro CLABA). It's the gathering place for a Spanish-speaking community in love with the games and films of the 80s and 90s.

The client needed a digital home that could house a huge catalogue of classic games and, at the same time, sustain an active community of fans without depending on third-party platforms. And, with close to a thousand entries across three catalogues, it had to keep loading fast.
We built a custom WordPress portal with a library you can browse by platform, genre and developer, community forums, a podcast, YouTube and Twitch integration and a donations module, on our own infrastructure. In 2026 we rebuilt the theme from scratch: three catalogues with their own entry pages (games, software and films), a shelf-style home page with the most popular and best-rated titles, page caching with WP Rocket and Cloudflare in front.

What happened to Clásicos Básicos after launch
A living retro community built around the content: shelf-by-shelf catalogues of games, software and films, an integrated podcast and its own forum (Foro CLABA) where members come back every day. The synthwave aesthetic has become its signature, and the archive keeps growing through contributions from the community itself: every catalogue has its own "want to contribute a classic?".
